Portugal Hearth is a free website and paid weekly newsletter for people exploring a move to Portugal, a second home, or a longer-term rental.

What’s included in the free site?

A sneak peek at six available properties that can be found in the newsletter, six in-depth articles geared towards making Portugal your home, helpful guides with links on moving logistics - pets - health coverage - residency, and our favorite restaurants from across the country, updated monthly.

What’s included in the paid weekly newsletter subscription?

Each week the newsletter will focus on one specific area and include 20 curated homes, 10 rental properties, visa pathways updated weekly, real estate market watch, monthly budget for 2 for that focus area, our favorite bottle of wine from a local winery, and full access to our newsletter archives.

How do you choose the homes and rentals you feature?

We comb through several reputable websites daily to pull together our lists for that week’s focus area. If we wouldn’t personally add it to our list of serious contenders, it doesn’t make the cut.

Do you sell real estate or act as agents?

We are not involved in real estate sales of any kind. Our goal is to give you the tools to further evaluate any property we feature including a direct link to the listing.

Is this only for people making a permanent move?

Not at all! It’s also for people considering a second home, seasonal base, or just want more in-depth information on Portugal.

Do you cover only Portugal?

Portugal is our main focus, but the inspiration for Portugal Hearth came from seeing how many people were exploring the idea of what life could realistically look like compared against their current location.

How do I find the back issues of your weekly newsletters?

Once you have subscribed you will have full access to all of the newsletter archives. Just select ARCHIVES on the right side of the navigation bar at the top of the web page.

How do I cancel my subscription?

At the bottom of the web page and each weekly newsletter there is a footer link where you can update your email address, card info, or cancel your subscription.
